Στον Καθεδρικό Ιερό Ναό των Αγίων Ανδρέου και Δημητρίου Μαδρίτης Τελέστηκε χθες, Κυριακή της Σταυροπροσκυνήσεως,
η Θεία Λειτουργία και στην συνέχεια η Πανηγυρική δοξολογία για την Εθνική Εορτή
της Εθνική Παλιγγενεσίας της Ελλάδος.
Των ακολουθιών προεξήρχε ο Σεβασμιώτατος Μητροπολίτης μας ενώ παρέστησαν η Εξοχ.
Πρέσβης της Ελληνικής Δημοκρατίας το Βασίλειο της Ισπανίας κα Αγλαΐα Μπαλτά, η
ηγεσία της Ελληνικής στρατιωτικής αποστολής και πολυπληθές εκκλησίασμα, μέλη της
εν Μαδρίτη Ελληνικής ομογενείας.
Ο Σεβασμιώτατος τόνισε την σημασία του Σταυρού και της θυσίας ενώ η κα Πρέσβης
ομίλησε για την ιστορική σημασία της Ελληνικής επαναστάσεως και την
επικαιρότητα των διδαγμάτων της.

En la Catedral Ortodoxa
Griega de los Santos Andrés y Demetrio de Madrid, se celebró ayer, Domingo de
la Adoración de la Cruz, la Divina Liturgia, seguida de la Solemne Doxología
por la Fiesta Nacional de la Guerra Nacional de Independencia Griega
(25.03.1821).
Los oficios
fueron presididos por Su Eminencia nuestro Metropolita y asistieron a la
Embajadora de la República Helénica en el Reino de España, Sra. Aglaia Balta,
la dirección de la misión militar griega y una numerosa congregación, miembros
de la comunidad griega en Madrid.
Su Eminencia
destacó la importancia de la Cruz y el sacrificio, mientras que la Embajadora
habló sobre la importancia histórica de la Revolución Griega y la relevancia de
sus lecciones.

In the Greek
Orthodox Cathedral of Saints Andrew and Demetrios of Madrid, the Divine Liturgy
was celebrated yesterday, the Sunday of the Adoration of the Cross, followed by
the Solemn Doxology for the National Feast of the Greek National War of
Independence (25.03.1821).
The
services were presided over by His Eminence our Metropolitan and attended by Her
Excellency the Ambassador of the Hellenic Republic to the Kingdom of Spain Mrs.
Aglaia Balta, the leadership of the Greek military mission and a large
congregation, members of the Greek community in Madrid.
His
Eminence stressed the importance of the Cross and the Sacrifice, while the
Ambassador spoke about the historical importance of the Greek Revolution and
the relevance of its lessons.
